| We went Snowboarding Mongenevre last winer. Chalet based holiday close to the resort centre. |

Low altitude resort but had good reviews so I took a chance.
Some great pistes - but many North facing and very icy most mornings. |

Good - Small, traditional, friendly, links to Milky Way ski area, great ski school, good snow record, Restaurant The Kilt!
Bad - costs increasing, not may "good" hotels. |

| I visited Deux Alpes 2 years ago - stayed in a Club Hotel - Brunerie I think. Hotel was ok (as you would expect from a Club Hotel) and its position was good. |

| Skiied Folgarida in 2008 with a couple of friends who are good skiiers. We initiallt thought the runs were limited, but the off piste and ski safaris were really good. |

Lots of skiing and lots of links inbetween neighbouring resorts - Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, El Tarter, Encamp etc etc.
Great choice of hotel - Sport for me everytime - traditional and classy feel, food is ok, and its close to the slopes. |
