MySkiLocker has been created by people who have a deep understanding of the winter sports scene, and the information which the snow enthusiast requires when planning their next trip. Research indicated that there was a need for a 'one stop shop' approach to key elements of the planning process, such as a comprehensive 'one-stop-shop' for resort information, a journey planner to review flights, transfer times and self drive options, resort reviews  from the myskilocker community, and an interactive snow forecast service. 

The journey planner is a unique service which offers visitors the opportunity to plan their holiday by destination airport, resort airport, transfer time or self drive. Our planner provides resorts which meet the visitors criteria, simplifying the search process.

myskilocker also offers a comprehensive snow forecast service (along with snow history) which can be delivered via the relevant section on the website, or direct to the individual via e-mail or text.

Background

The publisher, David Harrison, completed a sports degree from the University of Warwick, and worked in the holiday sector for Eurocamp Travel for several years. He worked for The Guardian and Observer Newspapers for over 10 years before to leaving to set up a marketing and advertising company called Spacehouse Ltd, which was formed in the year 2000. David has skied all over Europe for the past twenty years, and continues to do so, although struggling to keep up with the children these days!
